Jessica Simpson buys jailed pal a TV

Jessica Simpson gave jailed actor Lane Garrison something to smile about over Christmas (07) - she reportedly gifted the former Prison Break star with a colour TV. Garrison, who is serving a 40-month prison sentence for a drink driving accident that cost a teenage passenger his life, was granted access to a TV in his cell for good behaviour, but didn't have the funds to buy one. So Simpson, who grew up with Garrison, offered to buy her troubled friend the TV, according to In Touch Weekly magazine.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced Blonde Ambition which stars Jessica Simpson, Luke Wilson, Penelope Ann Miller, and Rachael Leigh Cook. The Scott Marshall directed comedy will be available to own from the 22nd January, and should retail at around $24.96. The film itself will be presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. The only extra material will be deleted scenes, and a behind the scenes featurette. Artwork is attached:

“The meeting went well, and she had a great time with them. His parents seemed to really like her. She’s falling completely in love with him” an insider tells the mag.

Jessica Simpson and Eva Longoria have both designed a pair of UGG Boots for a charity auction. The actresses are among a host of celebrities who have come up with their own unique hand painted creations for the popular sheepskin boots which will go under the hammer for UGG Australia's Art and Sole sale. The stars were asked to use the word 'hope' as the inspiration behind their designs.
'Dukes of Hazzard' actress Jessica decorated her boots with butterflies and flowers while 'Desperate Housewives' star Eva opted for hearts and her own signature. Penelope Cruz, John Travolta, Cindy Crawford, Minnie Driver, Miley Cyrus, Matthew McConaughey, Liv Tyler, Ellen DeGeneres, Ashton Kutcher, Ashlee Simpson, Kelly Ripa and Kelly Preston have also designed a pair of boots for the auction. The unique footwear will be available to buy until December 14. Proceeds from the auction will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to help terminally ill children.

Jessica Simpson and quarterback Tony Romo appear to be getting more open with their budding relationship.
The singer and football star were seen Saturday at Los Angeles nightclub Teddy’s, celebrating Cacee Cobb’s 30th birthday, according to a report by People.
Jessica, wearing a little black dress and heels, celebrated her friend’s birthday with Tony and Donald Faison from “Scrubs” in a private booth.
The hot new couple reportedly kept things mellow throughout the night, until suddenly the two kissed in the middle of the packed club.

Jessica's Rep: She Did Not Get Lip Injections

Reports suggesting Jessica Simpson – who spent Thanksgiving weekend in Texas with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo – received lip injections this past week are false, her rep tells PEOPLE.
"Jessica did not have anything done to her lips," her rep says. "She tried Restylane some time ago and did not like the way that it looked or felt, so she has not had anything done since."
[Restylane is described by the manufacturer as a Swedish-made injectable gel that adds fullness to the skin and corrects facial wrinkles]
Speculation fueled this week after photographs surfaced of Simpson in Los Angeles sporting what some perceived were fuller lips.
